We have developed the first three episodes as a part of homegrown educational web series on astronomy. The series is inspired partly by similar but independent initiatives decades ago by Jacob Bronowski and Carl Sagan. But Cosmic Quest features unique India-specific angles from Vedic astronomy and the links between geometry and astronomy that emerged in the Indus valley civilisation to the discovery of zero by 5th century BC astronomer Aryabhata. The series is supposed to span the 13.8-billion-year history of the cosmos: from its origin or the Big Bang and the evolution of galaxies and stars to the emergence of human beings and cognition and the gradual accumulation of astronomical knowledge. The video uses a mix of 3D animation and graphics, location shoots, special effects.

The objective of this project is to transfer multimedia data through the multi-hop Ad-hoc network Real-Time Streaming video over a MANET creates a lot of issues due to the uncertainty of the network path and the need of a lot of bandwidth. To overcome these issues we have come up with the solution by selecting the cross-layered approach for transferring the high resolution video frames using small network bandwidth. We have set up a MANET testbed with Raspberry pi and ESP32. The Raspberry pi has the camera to capture the video and processes as explained above. The Raspberry pi and the ESP32 are connected to each other by the serial GPIO port. We are developing the entire stack from scratch keeping the application in view.

The research aims to shed light on the potential of computational biodiversity as a defence against biodiversity loss, with a particular focus on the littoral mangrove forest of West Bengal. Existing data mining tools like tri-clustering, frequent closed itemset mining, and association rule mining have all been used to study a variety of issues. On accumulated species biodiversity datasets, a number of case studies have been conducted. By analysing the frequent coexistence status of salt marshes, mangroves, and mangrove associates in various zones of damaged mangrove patches for species-rich plantation, this study also makes a novel framework for restoration. To learn more about the missing portion of species occurrence data, the use of dark diversity function coupled with rule mining has been proposed. For advancing the multidisciplinary study in biodiversity, domain-specific data mining methods have also been suggested. Frequent itemset mining, biclustering, rule generation and prediction, constant and coherent signed biclustering, and domain rule filtering are the suggested and studied algorithms for restoration practitioners.
